Solo Travel After 40

For me, travel is the freedom of understanding the world on my own. It’s like writing a book, and each destination is a different chapter. As of now… my book is thick but exciting!

And speaking of excitement, my first solo travel experience was an international getaway for New Year's! It was either spend the holiday alone at home or in Paris with strangers! I chose Paris. I did it scared, but confident. Scared of being alone (just me and my thoughts) but confident I would look fabulous (as my wardrobe was the only thing I had control over lol). I suggest all women take a yearly solo trip. There’s a superpower that comes with women 40+! We are more confident, the sense of discernment, and just all around dope as a whole.

In closing, I’m forever humbled by my travel experiences and gracious to the host (people of the country) as I’m thankful I get to experience them. My biggest motto in life is “Don’t hate on nobody and don’t wait on nobody”! Now book the trip!
